The Role

We are expanding our Infrastructure team and are recruiting a Lead Structures Surveyor. This role will involve leading and delivering a range of highway infrastructure inspection and survey activities, including:

  • Asbestos surveys

  • Structural investigations

  • Condition surveys

  • Trial pit surveys

  • Pavement surveys


How You’ll Contribute

As a Lead Structures Surveyor, you will work both independently and as part of a wider team of surveyors and inspectors. You will support a broad portfolio of infrastructure clients—including Highway Operators, Major Contractors and Structural Engineers—helping them meet their operational and contractual responsibilities across the UK.

You will also act as a team leader/supervisor, ensuring high-quality delivery within a UKAS-accredited environment.


Knowledge and Skills

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Structural inspection works

  • Concrete inspection and testing

  • Pavement surveys

  • Building investigations

You will be comfortable working independently, supervising others and upholding UKAS-accredited standards.

Desirable:

  • SSSTS qualification

Training will be provided to broaden your capabilities and support cross-disciplinary survey work where required.
