Due to continued growth and diversification, we’re now looking for a Structures Surveying Technician to join our Infrastructure team. If you enjoy varied fieldwork, practical investigation, and producing accurate data that engineers can trust, you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Be Doing (And Why It Matters)
This is a hands-on technical role involving a broad mix of infrastructure inspection and investigation work across the UK.
You’ll carry out:
- Highway infrastructure inspections for a range of clients
- Asbestos surveys within infrastructure environments
- Structural investigations and condition assessments
- Trial pit surveys and investigative works
- Pavement surveys and associated testing
Working as part of a team of experienced surveyors and inspectors, you’ll support Highway Operators, Major Contractors, and Structural Engineers, helping them meet their responsibilities for safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
In short: practical surveying work that provides the evidence behind critical infrastructure decisions.
About You (Practical, Reliable, Detail-Focused)
You understand that accurate site data underpins good engineering decisions.
You’ll likely have:
- Experience in pavement and structural coring
- Experience carrying out concrete investigations
- Familiarity with survey equipment such as Hilti or Proceq tools
Most importantly, you’re:
- Methodical and safety-focused
- Comfortable working on site in varied environments
- Reliable, organised, and professional
- A strong team contributor who takes pride in doing things properly
