We are looking for a talented and driven Geotechnical Consultant to join our dynamic team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and make a real impact in the built environment
Role Responsibility
As a Geotechnical Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering geotechnical expertise to a range of projects. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting site investigations, soil and rock sampling
- Interpreting geotechnical data to provide recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and earthworks.
- Preparing technical reports, including geotechnical risk assessments and ground investigation reports.
- Supporting senior consultants with project delivery, ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to understand project requirements and ensure successful outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
The Ideal Candidate
- A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in geotechnical consultancy or engineering.
- Experience in site investigation techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interaction.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- A full UK driving license
