Technical Coordinator

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity to join the Operations and Technical Services team based in our Gateshead office as a Technical Coordinator. This role will serve as the primary liaison for national accounts, ensuring asbestos-related projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with all regulatory requirements. This role combines technical expertise in asbestos management with client-facing coordination responsibilities, supporting key accounts across multiple regions. Providing technical advice and guidance to our team of Operations Coordinators, site colleagues and clients. 

How You’ll Contribute 

  • Act as a central point of contact for national clients, dealing with day-to-day queries, technical advice and all contract related administration
  • Dealing with client requests accepting work orders, scheduling, arranging site access and progress reporting
  • Production of site/job specific risk assessments & method statements 
  • Engaging with clients when providing technical advice and guidance relating to asbestos and other hazardous materials 
  • Management of internal and external software platforms, ensuring that the company's systems (NexGen) are well administered and kept up to date.
  • Ensuring contract SLAs are met and KPIs are achieved 
  • Report quality checking 
  • Financial administration (Invoicing & General WIP management) 
  • Attending client meetings and systems training sessions (travel may be required
  • Ensuring that all client requests are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner.  
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required by senior management.  

Knowledge and Skills 

  • P402 Qualification is essential 
  • Proven experience in asbestos consultancy, surveying, or project management
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders
