🌿 Senior Ecologist – Help Us Give Nature a Voice

We’re looking for a Senior Ecologist to join our growing Ecology Team at Lucion — a team of people who believe that protecting nature isn’t just a job, it’s a mission.

🦉 What you’ll be doing
No two days will look the same. You could be:
🌱 Leading ecological surveys and guiding projects from the first site visit to final report.
🦇 Investigating protected species and uncovering the hidden wildlife stories of a site.
🗺️ Mapping habitats, assessing ecological value, and finding practical solutions.
✍️ Turning field discoveries into clear, high-quality ecological reports.
🤝 Working with clients, contractors, regulators, and communities to make good things happen.

🧠The kind of person we’re looking for
You’ll already have experience in ecological consultancy and be comfortable taking the lead. You’ll bring:
âś… A relevant degree (2:1 or above).
âś… CIEEM membership (Associate level or above).
✅ 3+ years’ consultancy experience.
âś… At least one Natural England protected species licence.
âś… A full driving licence.
But beyond qualifications, we’re looking for someone curious, practical, and passionate about turning ecological challenges into opportunities.
