We are currently looking for a Head of CCTV to come and join our team based out of our Southam Office. We are offering a basic salary of between £48,000 - £52,000 depending on experience. 

Role Responsibility

  • Planning all works to optimise all efficiencies possible, while effectively managing all site operations and delivering a trusted service to our clients.
  • Management of a team of CCTV Drainage Engineers & Assistants
  • Overall accountability for the scheduling of work, optimisation of resource.
  • Quoting CCTV drainage surveys and drainage remedial works.
  • Assisting with HR relations such as recruitment, absence monitoring, investigations, grievances, personal development appraisals and employee welfare.
  • Conduct/carry out comprehensive CCTV drainage condition surveys using both push rod and crawler unit systems.
  • Evaluate and analyse drainage system conditions identifying blockages and structural defects.
  • Generate detailed reports using viewline industry software and provide remedial recommendations for any required repairs and maintenance.
  • Quality checking and issuing of reports.
  • Generate detailed site plans using AutoCAD software.
  • Carry out detailed mapping surveys using state of the art electromagnetic and sonde location techniques.
  • Use of NexGen(Our In house system) administration (inc Job set-up / financial hygiene etc), resource management and workload delivery throughout the team. 
  • Undertaking any other duties as required by the Operations director and Senior leadership team. 

The Ideal Candidate

  • An OS20X or OS19X is required for the CCTV Drainage Engineer’s position (preferably with 5 or more years’ experience).
  • Experience In Using CAD (Computer aided design) is essential.
  • Experience In managing a team of CCTV drainage engineers & assistants.
  • Ensuring the optimisation of fee earning staff is at the correct level to achieve monthly targeted earnings, whilst maintaining adequate levels of resource. 
  • Monitoring the performance of the department, proactively making management decisions to meet KPIs on WIP, workload delivery and resource utilisation.
  • Have a proven track record of estimating within the drainage industry
  • Proven experience in CCTV drainage inspection techniques and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of drainage and sewer system design, construction, and maintenance practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical data accurately.
  • Strong communication abilities to effectively convey findings, recommendations, and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations and guidelines.
  • CSCS Card
  • High-pressure water jetting certificate 
  • Confined spaces or NRSWA qualification preferable but not essential
  • Competent in using IT tools and technical equipment. 
  • A full UK driving license is essential – Preferably clean.
