Job Introduction

Lucion are going through an exciting period of change and growth! Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking to take ownership of the administrative function within a growing business who wants to be part of that growth? This is the role for you! We are currently looking for a HR Administrator to come and join our team based out of our Head Office in Team Valley, Gateshead. We are offering a basic salary of up to £27,000 depending on experience and we work on a hybrid working model, 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. 

Role Responsibility

  • Setting up new starters on our internal HR system, (Nexgen)
  • Arranging induction and ensuring the successful onboarding of new starters
  • Ensuring new starters are booked in for required appointments, eg face fit, medicals and ensure these remain in date during the course of employment.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of data on NexGen.
  • Ensuring DBS checks are completed and in date, where required.
  • Running reports and formatting data.
  • Liaising with Managers to book training, ensuring PO’s are raised.
  • Conducting audits on HR data when required.
  • Helping to ensure other platforms are kept up to date (e.g employee health cashback scheme, employee discount scheme)
  • General HR Letters and Communications
  • Responding to queries in the HR Inbox and escalating if required.
  •  Liaising with line managers to ensure completion of probation reviews and appraisals.
  • Collating absence data
  • Ensuring payroll are updated with monthly changes
  • Other ad hoc HR duties as required.
  • Incorporate the group values in all areas of HR.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of working in a HR administration role.
  • Experience of working with confidential data and complying with GDPR
  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent computer skills - experience of using Google would be an advantage as well as MS office.
  • Experience of using a database style system would also be an advantage
