At Lucion Ground Engineering, we’re looking for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer ready to roll up their sleeves, learn fast, and help us figure out what’s happening beneath the surface (literally).

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
No two days are the same. One day you might be:
Supervising drilling rigs and trial pits
Logging soil and rock samples to industry standards
Getting stuck into in-situ testing
Collecting data for geotechnical and environmental assessments
Supporting the production of factual and interpretative reports
Working closely with contractors, clients and our wider team
You’ll split your time between site and office, building practical skills while developing the technical knowledge that turns graduates into confident engineers.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of experience — just the right mindset.
A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences (or similar)
Genuine enthusiasm for ground investigation and outdoor site work
Willingness to travel and work in all weather (yes, even British weather)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A full UK driving licence
Curiosity, resilience and a sense of humour help too.
