The Role

Our Coventry office (remote working considered) is seeking an experienced CAD Technician with strong skills in transforming raw measured building and topographical survey data into accurate, high-quality technical drawings.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in specialist surveying environments and proficiency in delivering measured building and topo survey outputs using BricsCAD or AutoCAD. You will be responsible for developing dependable survey drawings that meet client expectations and industry standards.


How You’ll Contribute

  • Produce detailed and accurate measured building and topographical surveys in 2D & 3D

  • Maintain a high level of precision across all CAD outputs

  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues

  • Work closely with onsite surveyors to ensure efficient, high-quality data collection

  • Adapt to varied data types and processing methods

  • Convert raw field data into clear, reliable CAD deliverables

  • Support delivery across a wide range of survey projects


Knowledge and Skills

  • Extensive experience with AutoCAD/BricsCAD

  • Strong understanding of surveying data, CAD standards and drawing production

  • Proven experience producing 2D measured building and topographical plans

  • Background in measured building surveying (desirable)

  • High attention to detail and measurement accuracy

  • Familiarity with construction drawings and terminology

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
